 The International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) has issued a comprehensive guide on Large Scale Rescue Operations at Sea and to which you will find a link on this page.
This guidance is complementary to Rescue at Sea: A Guide to Principles and Practice as Applied to Refugees and Migrants updated by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), in co-operation with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and ICS. The IMO update was posted on our web on 4 June 2015.
At the end of the ICS guide you will find some useful posters which can be used by the crew when managing the situation.
