Temporary restrictions on maritime transport with Greece
Temporary restrictions on maritime transport associated with Greece are stated in the Joint Ministerial Decision of the Ministers of Health, Infrastructure and Transport, Maritime and Island Policy, in the context of limiting the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. This Joint Ministerial Decision, in force from 15th of March 2020 at 15:00 to 15th of April 2020 at 15:00, provides in detail the following:

1) The temporary restriction on all maritime connections with Albania and Italy, including the arrival of private boats in the Greek territory. The temporary restriction of the maritime connection does not apply to freight transport vehicles.

2) The temporary restriction of professional seagoing vessels (such as cruise ships) to Greek ports and any means of disembarkation of passengers on board these vessels for preventive purposes of protecting public health.

3) This does not prevent the preparation and implementation of a repatriation program for Greek citizens in the countries referred to in Article 1.
